Emma N.1

As I work on "Emma's Tales" I begin to wonder how many girls and women have walked in Emma's shoes. Her experiences are riveting and continue to shake my core.

As I write her story I see myself, my sisters, my mothers, my grandmothers, my aunts and friends in her. Emma depicts the suffrage of women.

Her voice crackles as she tells me her story. How do you put a crackling voice on paper?

Emma, Emma,Emma... She makes my heart bleed.
